My Work
When people think about pottery they tend to picture earthy, natural looking colours in their minds. From the moment I first touched clay I felt the urge to apply colour onto it. Coming from a sunny country, I’ve noticed my pieces were as bright as the light we got outside and they have the power to spark a variety of emotions.

My pieces are made out of white porcelain or stoneware. I throw them on the potter’s wheel and decorate them using coloured slips that I’ve produced. I use screen prints to add nature-inspired impressions to the clay, giving each piece a gentle decorative touch.

I finish my pots with shiny transparent glaze and they are fired to 1240℃ - 1260℃.
